Meditation by the Bay, June 13, 2025
Grab your yoga mats and join us on Friday, June 13th at Buckroe Beach for a free meditation class taught by our very own Dr. Stout! Dr. Stout is a certified yoga, meditation and mindfulness instructor and will be leading us in a class focused on mindfulness and the Chesapeake Bay, in support of Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week.

Voices of the Bay, Fall 2025
We want to hear your stories about our Virginia coastlines! NOAA is leading an effort to collect oral histories related to Community Regional Resilience Challenge (CRRC) projects through their Voices Program. Through our CRRC NOAA grant award, Leveraging Cooperative Extension to Build an Enduring Capacity for Resilience in Rural Agricultural Communities across Coastal Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware, Virginia Tech will work with NOAA to compile all submissions into a public viewing catalog; selected entries will be featured throughout the fall on VTCC media.
