About

Who We Are

Virginia Tech Coastal Collaborator (VTCC) is a gateway, bringing the best of Virginia Tech’s capacity to the coast, matching current and emerging coastal resilience challenges to solutions. As a land grant extension program, the Coastal Collaborator does this through fostering collaborative partnerships that address risk reduction, equity, and build enduring capacity for adaptation. Under the umbrella of the Virginia Seafood Agricultural Research and Extension Center and supported through College of Agriculture and Life Science, College of Science, Virginia Agricultural Experiment Station, College of Engineering, National Security Institute, and Virginia Cooperative Extension, we benefit from the legacy of excellence Virginia Tech has created in Hampton Roads.
